SOFTBALL: Two road losses for Cards

The North Idaho College softball team travelled to Yakima, WA on Friday, April 8 to face Southwestern Oregon Community College and Clackamas Community College. The Cardinals fell to SWOCC 4-11 and to CCC 7-8.

Taryn Vanderwiel led the Cards going three-for-seven with one stolen base and three RBIs. Aleksya Batoon went two-for-six with one double, two stolen bases, one walk and two RBIs. Megan Dobrev went two-for-seven with onen double and two RBIs.

The Cardinals host Spokane Community College on Tuesday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. NIC Athletics will be giving free hot dogs to fans at the second game, while supplies last! Come support NIC Softball!
