Assistant volleyball coach Kelsey Stanley is in her first year of coaching at North Idaho College. She attended Bottineau High School in North Dakota, where she excelled as a student athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She earned All-State honors in volleyball and was a five-time state pole vault champion in track. In 2006, Stanley was named North Dakota Athlete of the Year.
Stanley continued her volleyball and track career at Dickinson State University where she became a six-time NAIA All-American in track and field and a four-time national pole vault champion. She completed a bachelor’s degree elementary education at Dickinson State University.
Kelsey lives in Coeur d’Alene with her husband, Keri, who is currently the NIC assistant wrestling coach.
