Cardinals fans can return to Christianson stands

Spectators are now allowed and encouraged to attend indoor and outdoor athletics events – while continuing to follow North Idaho College’s protocols that are in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in our community.

For indoor events in Christianson Gymnasium:

Attendance is limited to 40 percent capacity.
Spectators are required to wear masks/face coverings and maintain 6 feet of physical distance.
Physical distancing and proper mask wearing will be maintained in all areas of the facility including entryways, exits, lobbies, bathrooms, and congregation of people is prohibited.

For outdoor events, spectators are required to maintain 6 feet of physical distance, and masks/face coverings are required when 6 feet of physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available to spectators and participants at all indoor and outdoor events.

These protocols for spectator attendance at North Idaho College athletics events are in alignment with NIC’s COVID-19 requirements, the Idaho Intercollegiate Athletics Plan for Governor’s Guidelines on Gatherings and Spectators, and Northwest Athletics Conference (NWAC) requirements.
