WRESTLING: Cards currently 7th place at National Championship; four All-Americans

North Idaho College's wrestling team is currently in 7th place after the first day of the NJCAA National Championships. Four Cardinals made it to the second day and will become All-Americans.

Andrew Lucero (125) and Sal Silva (149) are in the semi-final round and still have a chance at being crowned national champions. Hunter Gregerson (184) and Cohle Feliciano (285) are also going to be All-Americans and have a chance to finish as high as third place.

Sophomores Zay Duran (165) and Micah Tynanes (197) finished just short of becoming All-Americans in their last action as NIC Cardinals. Larry Johnson was also one match short of placing in the 141 weight class--losing a heartbreaker in overtime.

Action resumes on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. PST.
