The Cardinals came out strong in their first game against Blue Mountain, defeating the Timberwolves 8-0 in 5 innings. Madi Mott had one homerun, 3 walks, and 2 RBI's. Devinne Amesquita had a 3 run homerun in the first inning. Sarah Williams went 2-2 with one single, one homerun and one walk. Taylor Anderson also had a solo homerun in the third inning. Mott earned the win in the circle with 13 strikeouts. 

In their second game of the day, the Cardinals won in 5 innings with a score of 14-2. Andrea Hoey earned the win for the Cardinals throwing 3 of the innings and Grace Ferres closed the game throwing the last two. Jori Kerr went 3-3 with two singles, one double, one walk and 3 RBI's. Mott went 3-4 with 3 singles. Amesquita went 3-3 with two 3-run homeruns, one single, and 6 RBI's. Grace Shimatsu went 2-3 with two singles and 1 RBI. Today's 6 home runs mark the Cardinals 100th homerun of the season. 

They will be back in action Saturday, May 4th, against Treasure Valley CC at 12:00pm and 2:00pm at Post Falls HS. Saturday is Sophomore Day and the Cardinals will celebrate their sophomores: Devinne Amesquita, Madi Mott, Emma Profili, Taylor Anderson, Taylor Panlasiqui, Bailey Cavanagh, Ashlyn Winn, and Jori Kerr.
