MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cards Set for NWAC Final 4

Step three of the Cardinals pursuit of the NWAC Championship continues today in Everett, WA as the Cards face Lane Community College at 5:00pm in the NWAC Men's Basketball semi-finals. NIC, the East Region Champion and top ranked NWAC team, comes into the contest on a 20 game win-streak, unblemished against NWAC competition this season. Lane CC (27-3) is the South Region champion, and #2 ranked team in the NWAC. The Titans are led by high scoring Tarik Cool, a 6'3 wing selected as the South Region MVP, and 6'9 Cody Mathis. The Titans defeated Green River CC in the quarterfinals, 90-80, last weekend to advance.

The NWAC Men's Championship game will be played the following day at Everett Community College, Sunday, March 17, at 4:45pm, following the Women's Championship game. East Region rivals Community Colleges of Spokane and Walla Walla CC will square off in the other men's semi-final contest to face the winner of the NIC- Lane match-up.
