MEN’S BASKETBALL: Cards win opener at NWAC Tournament


North Idaho College began defense of their Northwest Athletic Conference title with a 105-68 victory over Clackamas CC Thursday afternoon at Everett Community College.

Freshman Nate Pryor led 5 players in double figures with a game-high 23 points to go along with 5 assists while sophomore backcourt teammate RayQuan Evans finished with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists. Sophomore Alphonso Anderson recorded a double-double, 20 points and 12 rebounds in just 24 minutes. Freshmen Emmitt Taylor and Phillip Malatare rounded out double-digit scorers with 14 and 12 respectively.
