WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: North Idaho beats Spokane


The North Idaho College women’s basketball team traveled over the border and beat the Community Colleges of Spokane, 60-48, on Wednesday, January 23.  NIC forced Spokane into 21 turnovers and got 21 more shot attempts which proved to make the difference in the game.  Freshman, Alivia Williams, led all players with 17 points.  Freshman, Keara Simpson, had an outstanding game posting 14 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.  Freshman, Halle Eborall, lead all players with 4 assists. 

The Lady Cardinals (15-4, 5-2) host Yakima Valley College on Saturday, January 26.  Tip-off is at 2:00 PM and is followed by the men’s game.  Both games can be viewed at www.nic.athletics.
