VOLLEYBALL: NIC loses in 4 on the road


The Cardinals were on the road Saturday playing Walla Walla Community College, in Walla Walla, Wash.. The Warriors took the win in a four set match, 25-19, 18-25, 21-25 and 23-25. The Lady Cardinals are working through line up changes due to key players being out with injuries. Chloe Knudsen has stepped in as setter for the Cardinals and is doing a fantastic job settling into her new role. Knudsen had 35 assists, 10 digs and 2 kills. Kynzey Mitzel also stepped into a lead role for the Cardinals as libero, Mitzel had 22 digs. Kayla Neumann and Hailee Etter both ended the match with 12 kills.

The Cardinals record is now 6-3 in the NWAC East Region and 18-9 overall. NIC returns home on Wednesday, October 17th for a match against Wenatchee Valley College at 6pm in Christenson Gymnasium.
