VOLLEYBALL: The Cardinals play well on the road

The Cardinals were on the road last Friday against Yakima Valley College. NIC did a great job of getting off the bus and getting the win in 3. The first set was a very easy win for the Cardinals, 25-14. Yakima Valley was able to get a couple of runs on NIC in the last couple sets, but the Cards finished strong, 25-19 and 25-22. Head Coach Kelsey Stanley commented, “Chloe had a great game for us. She did an outstanding job running the offense and able to keep everyone in system. Chloe ended the night with 33 assist. Hailee Etter had 12 kills, following her was Hannah McPhetridge with 11.

NIC is now 18-8 and 6-2 in conference. The Cardinals have a week of practice before they head to Walla Walla Community College on Saturday.
