WRESTLING: Cardinals finish 6th in the NJCAA

Five All-Americans helped the Cardinals finish 6th in the nation at the NJCAA National Wrestling Championships in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Saturday night. Sophomore Bryce Parson, a 149 pounder from Lewiston, led the way for the Cardinals with a 3rd place individual finish. Parson lost his first match of the tournament on Friday and won 8 consecutive matches to win the NJCAA Bronze medal. Sophomore heavyweight Connor Sullivan lost in overtime in his final match to finish fourth, Sophomores Cooper McCullough (157) from Moses Lake finished 5th, and Esco Walker, 125 from Charlotte, NC, finished 6th. Hunter Gregerson (197) from Spokane Valley was the lone freshman All-American for the Cardinals with an 8th place finish.
