MEN’S BASKETBALL: Cardinals win streak stretches to 6


Freshman Emmitt Taylor III poured in a game-high 25 points as North Idaho College beat a determined Medicine Hat squad 93-72 Saturday night in the Best Western CDA INN-vitational at Rolly Williams Court. Taylor also grabbed 8 rebounds, seven in the second half.

Ray Quan Evans continues to put up double-digit games. The sophomore poured in 24 points, including 10 of 12 from the charity stripe to go along with a game-high 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Sophomores Alphonso Anderson and Jared Greene finished with 11 and 10 repoints respectively. Junior Jonathan Sappleton led the Rattlers with 23.

The Cards will have a short week of practice Monday and Tuesday before heading to San Jose, California for the three-day San Jose City College Classic. The Cardinals will open play Thursday night December 6th at 6pm against the host Jaguars. Catch the action live on our You Tube Channel at
