WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Simpson & Williams lead Cardinals to victory


The North Idaho College women’s basketball team concluded their three games in three days Arizona trip with a 77-64 victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler, Arizona on Sunday, November 18, 2018.  The Lady Cardinals fell behind early only to regain composure and the lead through their tenacious defensive efforts.  Freshman post, Keara Simpson, was unstoppable around the basket scoring 24 points off of a 66% field goal percentage.  She also pulled down 7 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.  Freshman guard, Alivia Williams, produced her third 20+ point game in three days scoring 20 points while shooting 70% from the field.  Freshman, Halle Eborall, grabbed 12 rebounds and freshman, Alex Carlton, tallied 5 assists. 

The Lady Cardinals are now 2-1 and return to action at home on Saturday, December 1, against the Gonzaga University Club team.  Tip-off is at Noon.
