VOLLEYBALL: Cardinals take down Warriors

The North Idaho College volleyball team matched up Friday afternoon against their rival, Walla Walla Community College. The Cardinals, who had split with the Warriors during league play, jumped off to a great start and led both sets easily. NIC beat the WWCC in 2 sets, 25-17 and 25-20. Kayla Neumann led the Cardinals with 9 kills followed by Hailee Etter with 8 and Sydney Bybee right behind her with 7. Kynzey Mitzel led with 13 digs and 2 serve aces. “It was so fun to see all the girls contribute to the win today. Each girl held their own well and did their job. It was fun to see us finally have a good flow and finish strong,” commented coach Stanley.

Cardinals will take on Chemeketa Community College tomorrow morning at 10:00am.
