NIC volleyball beats Walla Walla


The North Idaho College volleyball team their rival, Walla Walla Community College, in 2 sets, 25-17 and 25-20, on Nov. 16. The Cardinals, who had split with the Warriors during conference, jumped off to a great start and led both matches easily. Kayla Neumann led the Cardinals with 9 kills followed by Hailee Etter with 8 and Sydney Bybee right behind her with 7. Kynzey Mitzel led with 13 digs and 2 serve aces.

“It was so fun to see all the girls contribute to the win today. Each girl held their own well and did their job. It was fun to see us finally have a good flow and finish strong,” said Coach Kelsey Stanley.

Cardinals will take on Chemeketa Community College Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.
