SOFTBALL: The Cardinals bats are still hot


In game one, the Cardinals fell behind Southwestern Oregon CC 8-2. With the bats being silent until the 6th inning when Madi Mott singled to start off the 6th inning offensive assault, and seven consecutive hits followed after to take the lead 11-8 going into the top of the 7th inning. Kayla Curtan hit a 3 run triple to bring in 3 runs in the 6th. Ashlyn Winn went 2-4 with 2 RBI’s as well. Audrey Seipert earned the win in the circle.

In game two, the Cardinals faced off with Clackamas Community College with a 18-1 victory. Kayla Moore earned the win in the circle. Kayla Curtan and Megan Carver went 3-4 on the day. Madi Mott went 3-4 with 2 home runs and 6 RBI’s. Kalyna Korok went 3-4 with two doubles and 2 RBI’s. Ashlyn Winn went 3-4 with double, home run and 1 RBI’s.

The Cardinals finish their Oregon road trip tomorrow at Mt. Hood Community College at 1pm vs. Lower Columbia College and 3pm vs. Mt. Hood Community College.
