WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Lady Cardinals Knock Off #4


The North Idaho College Lady Cardinals, ranked fifth in the NWAC, knocked off fourth ranked Clackamas Community College 85-82 on their home court. Sophomore Whitney Meier was on fire from the three-point line hitting 6 of 10 and finishing with 26 points. Sophomore Zosha Krupa scored 17 points including some timely three-pointers.

Sophomore Cierra Dvorak contributed 11 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists. Freshman Kelsey Auer nearly missed a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Posts Sydney Hovde and Gia Sorn made their presence known with 8 rebounds and 7 blocked shots respectively.

The Lady Cardinals end their road trip playing Lower Columbia College on December 17 at noon at Clackamas Community College.
