VOLLEYBALL: Season ended by Bellevue

The Lady Cardinals Volleyball season came to an end on day 3 of the Northwest Athletic Conference Championship tournament with a lost to Bellevue College, 25-18, 25-19. It's the second year in a row that Bellevue ended the season for the Cards in the NWAC tournament. The #2 ranked Cards had difficulty getting into a rhythm offensively against the #7 ranked North Region Champion Bulldogs. Bellevue got hot at the right time and knocked off East Region rival Walla Walla CC and Clark College to win the win the consolation bracket. The tournament concludes on Sunday with undefeated top seed Chemeketa CC ready to face Bellevue in the Championship match.

The Cardinals end the season at 33-8, winning the East Region title for the second consecutive season. Congratulations to the Lady Cards for another outstanding season.
