WOMEN'S GOLF: NIC comes up 2nd at Highline Invite

The Highline Invitational concluded yesterday with the Cardinal women taking second place as a team. The event was held at Twin Lakes G.C. in Federal Way, WA and was a unique event in the fact that it was a stableford scoring system rather than stroke play. The women finished the two days with 296 points which was only 3 points shy of first place Spokane. Sophomore Madi Brown had the standout performance finishing with 98 points which put her in solo third place individually. Sophomore Aly Mabey also had a solid performance finishing with 89 points for the two days placing her in sixth place overall. The Highline Invitational was the last tournament of the fall for the women.
The women will have a couple months to make some needed swing changes and improvements to get ready for the spring season.
