WOMEN'S SOCCER: Cardinals drop final league game

NIC traveled to Spokane to play the Sasquatch for the 2nd seed out of the East Region. CC of Spokane outplayed the Cardinals and won 3-0. Spokane probably had 65% of the possession in the game and a couple of very good saves by Hunter in the first half kept the score even at 0-0 at halftime. The relentless pressure of the Sasquatch created too many good chances in the second half and Hunter could not save them all.

NIC finishes league play with a 10-4 league record and 12-6 overall. They finish 3rd in the East Region and will travel to either Skagit Valley College or Whatcom Community College to play their NWAC first round playoff game on Wednesday, Nov. 1. We won’t know who we play until after game on Saturday in the North Region.
