WOMEN'S GOLF: NIC finishes 4th at NWAC Committee Tournament

The last round of the NWAC Committee Tournament hosted at Apple Tree G.C. concluded yesterday with the women finishing in fourth place overall out of nine teams.  Windy conditions made for tough scoring the first day, where only one player was able to break 80 in the entire field. Sophomore Madi Brown stood in second place with her 81.  The Cardinal's team score of 265 for the first round was only 3 shots out of first place.  However on the second day with easier scoring conditions the women posted a higher team score of 269 and fell down the leader board to fourth place. Sophomore Madi Brown led the way for the Cardinals individually with a T5th place finish.

The women head to Seattle this next weekend for the Highline Invitational which is their last event of the fall.
