WOMEN'S SOCCER: NIC cruises past Blue Mountain

In a rather lackluster performance, the North Idaho College Cardinals cruised past the Blue Mountain CC Timberwolves 3-0. The only goal in the first half was a Katey Knaack break away in the 45th minute. The first goal in the second half was an "own goal" by the Timberwolves about halfway through the period. NIC's final tally came on a cross from Natalie Goetz to the middle of the penalty area finding Ellory Ferris who put her volley into the "roof" of the net.
The Cardinals are 7-2 in league and will face Wenatchee Valley at home on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M.
