WOMEN'S GOLF: Women Fourth at Fall NWAC League Match

The first NWAC League Match of the 2017-2018 season concluded on Monday, October 2nd.  The League Match was hosted by Olympic College at both Gold Mountain G.C. and McCormick Woods G.C. in Bremerton, WA. After the first round at Gold Mountain the women were in first place by one shot over CBC. Unfortunately the Cardinals couldn't keep it going during the second round at McCormick Woods G.C. and fell back to fourth place overall for the tournament. "It was tough having the event hosted on two different courses in the fact that we weren't able to get to know both of them," Head Coach Russell Grove said.  "I was really disappointed with how the girls played the second day.  We had way too many double bogeys and others that just killed our score." Sophomore Madi Brown lead the Cardinals with an individual fourth place finish.  The Cardinals head to Yakima next for the NWAC Committee event held at Apple Tree G.C. on October 22nd & 23rd.
