VOLLEYBALL: NIC sweeps CC of Spokane


The North Idaho College women's volleyball team took on the Community Colleges of Spokane on Wednesday, October 4. The Cardinals won in three sets 25-12, 25-16, and 25-13. The kill leader for the night was Kayla Neumann with 14 kills. Haylee Templeton had another high scoring game with 43 assists and Rachel Leskikar led the team with 16 digs. The victory was a complete team effort with everyone contributing to a .316 hitting percentage. Macy Ducouer contributed 9 kills, Hailee Etter and Halle Hess both finished the evening with 8 kills and Harley Cope had 5 kills. The team total for blocks was 5. The Cardinal serve receive was near perfect with zero errors for the team.
