SOFTBALL: NIC Splits with Knights


The Cardinals dropped game one 9-5. Kennedy Anderson had a solo home run to take the lead in the 2nd inning. The Cardinal’s defense faulted with 4 errors that allowed the Knights to take the lead in the 6th inning. In game two, it was an offensive battle with the Cardinals earning the win in the bottom of the 10th with the score of 14-11. Karla Moore earned the win in the circle pitching 13 innings on the day. Ana Raynor had two crucial doubles, with 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Megan Carver went 3-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI’s.

The Cardinals are back in action on Tuesday, April 11th at Memorial Field at 2pm vs. Big Bend Community College.
