Bell leads Volleyball to victory

The Cardinals had their first home match against Columbia Basin on Wednesday. NIC started out slow showing some nerves on the court. It wasn’t until Brooke Bell stepped on the court that things started rolling. Cardinals squeaked by in the first game 25-23. The Cardinals started passing a better ball the second half and became more in sync with one another. In the end, NIC beat the Hawks in 3 sets. Final scores of the night, 25-23, 25-13, 25-16. Leading hitters of the night, Brooke Bell and Kelsie Murray tie with 14 each. 21 digs for Zuri Meehan and 35 assists for Brittany Gay.

NIC is traveling to Big Bend Friday night followed by Walla Walla the next morning.
