Miller takes first, Cardinal women finish 2nd

04/18/2016

The Cardinal Women almost came back to win after a poor first round, but fell three strokes short to Bellevue College. The women were 8 shots back after the first round but carded the lowest team round for the tournament on the second day with a 246, for a two day total of 516; three strokes behind Bellevue’s 513. Nicole Miller’s individual performance was the highlight of the tournament as she shot 83,80 to win by one stroke over Bellevue’s Meg McMullen. Amalia Negrette also had a strong individual performance shooting 93,82 and finishing T7th.

The Cardinals look to keep things going like they were for the second round this weekend at the NWAC League match in Yakima, WA at Apple Tree G.C.
